Yesterday I was out battling the winds again and noticed that my tail would drift a bit. Mini titan, Gy401 and Futaba S9650 on the tail. Running a dx7 and the sensitivity in the radio is set at about 80.
When I would throttle up or down to maintain altitude I was noticing that the tail would drift until rpm was stabilized, which was kinda hard to do with all the wind. One minute, for a given throttle setting, the heli would be climbing and when the wind died down it would be the opposite.
Didn't note the direction of the rotation but it would spin one way as I throttled up and the other direction with a decrease in throttle. I had not noticed this previously. Is there something I can do to minimize this?
Probably not bad in idle-up with a constant rpm but I haven't been flying much in that mode.
