Default dx7 and ar6200

just got my dx7. holy crap[X(]. this is my first real tx and i'm very impressed.. it will take some time to figure it all out,
but with percistence and this forum, i'm sure i'll get it .

first question, where do i plug in the binding plug. instr. shows plugging it in to the charge line on the rx batt. i don't have
a rx batt---hdx450se. so my esc would plug in to the batt spot on the rx. where do i put the binding plug( CAREFUL)

i'll call horizon, but i just wondered if anyone knew on here. thanks

Esc plugs into the throttle channel and the bind plug will go directly into the batt channel.

oh, ok. now it makes sense. thank you very much.
so does this sound right;

esc to throttle
gyro to rudder
elev servo to elev
one aleron servo to aler
second aleron servo to aux1

Looks good to me. If you have trouble getting the ail servos to go in the right direction, try switching positions in the rcvr. before you use the servo reversing in the trans.

Ask away. I had many questions getting started too. Payback time.

Yep fire away.

Two things to remember with binding. You must bind with the plug hooked to the battery connector, its the only one with the signal line wired to put the reciever into binding mode.

The other thing is to rebind when you are done with your setup, it is what sets the fail safe positions, do it with the throttle at idle.
