does anybody know how to make a piccoboard for micro electric helis with several different parts so that it would be cheaper? a piccoboard is just the mixing board that takes the input from the receiver and changes tail rotor and main rotor rpms accordingly.
thanks

I'm making the switch to seperates too after I fried my piccoboard, www.aeromicro.com has great deals on esc's and gws rx's or you can get a Hitec rx from www.servocity.com which has free shipping. If you have a tx with revo mixing, all you need is a basic gyro, you may be able to find a used one on here or ezone for a good price, I just got a great deal on a csm 180 for $25!, couldn't believe it... If you don't have revo mixing on your tx then you need a head hold gyro, Futaba gy240 is a great choice which is about $100...
May end up a little more than a piccoboard but well worth it, my case proves that, with seperates, if something gets damaged you just replace it, with a piccoboard, you need to buy a whole piccoboard or you need to get everything again... Plus if there's a chance you may go brushless later then you should for sure go with seperates...
