Default Dragonus NVII and Elite

Throwing in a couple of pictures of my finished NVII and newest member of the family, Dragonus Elite.
These are two terrific helicopters.

Isn't there anyone else popping in here that has one? Throw in a few pics. , and post your opinions of the Dragon.
Hit me up if you have any questions regarding either. There is a 500 in the works at this time too.

I blasted my NV into the pavement tonight. "$#%@$#" Getting used to flying in idle 1, and did good for 1 pack. Half way through the second, I nose planted from 6 feet up. One of these days I'll quit flying in my street.

Damages: Flybar, Blades, main shaft, main gear, KB tailblades, motor pinion, 1 Align pole, gyro wire to be spliced. Could have been worse. Throttle hold is my friend. [sm=bananahead.gif]

damn dude, you did tear it up, lol. I wrecked mine tonight and then decided I hadn't had enough and went and wrecked my shark as well. I rammed the dragon into my quad that was sitting in my driveway and other than blades and main shaft, no damage. The shark however, not so lucky, bent shaft, bent flybar, blades, and oddly enough it took my motor out, blew the thing in two and ripped the pinion off the shaft (didn't we talk about that earlier).

I put my Elite into the ground today too, I got ballsy and tried to fly in some pretty heavy wind. Total dmg. Main blades, Main gear, two stripped s241 servos, totaled tail boom (boom strike) flybar, other than that I think all is good, Its about time for some new dampeners, and i need a new one way and sleeve. I think it's time for a better gyro. I will post pictures later. Oh and I think I need a feathering shaft. not sure yet. hehe and I took a chip out of my horizontal fin. I am surprised at how tough this bird is.

Troubles I see eh... You'll get it sooner or later. LOL. Went to the Ihobby Show today. Was very cool. Ended up going down there with Al, his Wife, and my son. Met Charlie Murphy @ the Outrage booth. Nice guy. Gave me a ton of info on the New Rage 550. Very nice bird. Had a nice close up of the E550 also. I think I'm in love with that Raptor... It's a toss up right now, between the two. I'll throw ya a few pictures of the show soon. I did not end up running into Tom, Eric, & the other guys there. No chance in *(&* in finding them in there...

O' my freekin legs hurt. It is quite a walk to get in there from the parking garage, and back again. My son and I stayed almost to the end. I think we were there from 10:45 AM - to about 4:30. The fun part is getting to meet all of the people ya deal with in person, from all over the USA and Asia.

O' yeah there tough. My only complaint so far, Is that the paint on the Canopy really flies off pretty easy in a crash. Chips off like cornflakes flying from your cereal bowl.

Man I am so pissed I did not get to go, I would have liked to see what is new on the market.

Opt - I will call you in the morning, I am actually at the parking garage on my buddies computer (Iam not sure how that works, lol) having a fly in with some of the bros. Make a list if you need anything that you don't already have, (I hope it is okay to offer, Z might slam me for it you know).

Ufc - what new little bird did you pick up?

Have the NV put back together finally. Just have to adjust blade tracking, as the heli is vibrating pretty good and have about a 1/4 to 1/2 " gap in the blades.
Waiting on a motor for the Elite and that one will be ready to maiden.

Hey ya Rusty, Uploading a picture of the new BEAST. Well maybe not, but it is cute though eh?? I don't know if you can even see it.
Fun little thing for in the house. I think I'm going to want the Blade Mcx though for this winter, for in the house. Have the NV put back together now also.

Man, you ought to attach it to the bottom of the Dragon like the X-1 and launch it from there, lol. It looks cool and I bet it is a blast to fly. Sorry I have been such an ass on the phone lately and have not been participating in the threads much. MIke @UShobby supply and his minions have all but killed my tuner thread and it just frustrates the hell out of me, I wish the divisive jerk would just go out of business, but I digress. Both birds are looking good man, did you ever get the hardened shafts in yet?

Nope, still on backorder til tomorrow at HL. Then they have to ship from there to Venture. I'm sure it will be about 1 more week. They did ship 1 out of the 4, so I did pick that one up last Friday. "Minions" funny little word isn't it!!
But true. Sucks when a putz or two decide to hijack a thread on people, then shoot crap in your face - but, OOOOO, I didn't know??? That's always the excuse. Anything to screw someone for the Allmighty $$$

Yeah, It could be confusing.[X(] ,, I have 7 canopys for the 2 Dragons. I like the orange for orientation reasons. I does look cool with the KB blades. The canomod's will be for shelf purposes from now on though. I hate wrecking with them, the paint just flecks off. The plastics are like $5.00 So there perfect for flying and not worrying about having to replace.

Thanks for posting over here Technex. I'm always reading up on the other thread RCG. Not too many comments in there, as I'm friends with most of the IL. guys there. Just pick info thats useful to the Dragons.

I'm working on my Elite right now, as we speak. Fixing the things that I have in my Inventory. Still waiting on the motor - the blades, etc.

Dude, I was going for emerging lizard!?! The other one I am doing is the flame looks better since I did the whole canopy instead of just parts of it. This crap is tough to work with though, my recommendation is a shot of turkey to calm the nerve, then a whiskey on the rocks with a whiskey backer to kill the regret for starting the project in the first place.

This is the latest rage, bringing me to three, I finished this one last night.
