Need stable indoor heli
HI guys,
Whats the best stable indoor heli avlbl nowadays? Its for a 12 yr old. He flew the coaxial ones before from radioshack and they werent that stable.
Our max budget is $100. Cheaper would be better too ...in this tough economy.
Thanks!

for that price you can get a a Lama V4, or walkera ,or similar coaxial heli.
good beginner helis and can fly indoors.

I would suggest the E-flight MCX it's just slightly over your budget but would make a good indoor first stable heli.
I have seen them demonstrated. pilot put the heli in the air then put down the controller & it stayed there real nice.

I agree, Eflite MCX is extremely stable co-axial. But if he has outgrown co-axial and ready for challenge (eventually everyone does), then the Walkera 4#3B is good option (www.wowhobbies.com)

Lama V3/V4 is stable and really an indoor heli... you can get one of these for about &70.00 and buy upgrades for them if you choose to do so. These heli's are good for training you orientation and fun but not much else. But for $70.00 you can still fly indoors when the weather is snoty outside.
good luck
happy fly'n
