l just got my dx6i radio and my god ,where does a person start to program it for a t-rex type 450 heli.l am just in the process of building my first helicopter and already l am so frustrated l am ready to sell everything.l have been practising on sim for the last 6 months(about 40 hours)and can fly around no problem.l also have been flying my blade mcx around (which l have pretty much mastered)
But how does a person even begin to setup a 450 heli for flight with this controller.l have setup many rc planes which l have been flying for 2 years now.But that was a piece of cake compared to seting up a heli.Does anyone know of a manual or something for seting up this controller

you need to go to helifreak.com you'll need to registrer which is free and head to finless bob's helifreak tech room. everything you need to know is there.

I've got both a 450 & Dx6i check with Helifreak & you tube if you can not find what you need e-mail me at [email protected] & I'll see if I can walk you through the set up, but yopu got to be at least a little familier with your transmitter. so you'll know where to look for the settings to plug in. Look over the basic menu's & screens

Ditto... We are here to help... I can give you some of my settings etc but you would have to fine tune ur Tx to suit ur fly'n style etc... The manual isn't that great as you no doubt are figuring out but it will come to you... ask plenty of questions... one or two at a time tho... Its not that hard and you'll see a huge diff in the way the heli's will fly when ur Tx is tuned well...
Happy fly'n

Hi, I just got my DX6I myself and i must say that the FinlessBob videos from a Helifreak are a lot of help to setup trex450's and even though h'es using a futaba 7tch in his trex setup vids. You can find the same menu items in your dx6i.
