Default Eolo R22 and 1/10 car electronics

What are the general specs on the motor that comes with the Eolo R22? I am thinking about using a stock motor from 1/10 cars (ie; P2K) and a standard 6 cell 3000 mah NiMh battery. This seems like a lighter set-up with a pretty powerful motor. Anyone have any experience or knowledge on this?

Thanks,
Chris

I know you can use 540 motors in electric helis. Hell, the IKarus Sport motor is not as hot as some car motors I have. I seriously doubt you'd get off the ground at 7.2V though.

My Eolo R22 is running the stock motor at present. When it died I'm going to try one of my Monster Maxx WIld motors from my TXT-1. They are rated to 14.4V. Should be intersting.

A friend of mine flies a 17x2 winder motor with the GP3300. The overall-performance is pretty good. I am just building my Eolo and I will use the car motor as well. The LRK Brushless are working really well but first I start with the car motor. Greetings from Germany
