Default Charging Battery

I want to know how long is the charging time for the charger that comes with the Aero Hawk Heli. Can I buy a nice 15 minute charger with a current limiter and charge the small battery pack?

Thanks!

Default Charging Battery

Yes, as long as it can go down to at least .6 or .7 amps

What is the Mah rating of the charger you have?

Fast charging these small Ni-mh's kills them real quick.

The charger you got with the kit is probably 300Mah??? this should charge in about 1 and half hours....

If you have extra $$$, get a good "high frequency trickle" fast charger. Ussually the charger included on the kit is a linear type charger which makes a shorter battery life.
Common trickle/pulse chargers are around 50Hz to 100Hz and a good charger is 1Khz to 2Khz range.

It's like this.
Linear charging provides a better punch but drains faster (and easily kills the battery) while pulse charging provides a longer usage of battery with somewhat lesser punch.
A high frequency compensates the punch and the "life" of a battery.

Please do note that if you intend to do fast charging, you have to provide a good dissipation of heat generated by the battery (a blower in front of the battery will do).

I'm not an expert but this is what I learned on the surface R/C. I may not answer your question but just want to share some info.
