hey today while flying I noticed my crystal was bent a bit from the reciever slidding a tiny bit. Should I solder the crystal in or should I tape it in....also would you think a low battery would make my tail twitch again? I only have the signal hooked up this time :)

Yes, just use some electrical tape to secure crystal. When battery gets low, tail start wagging. Time to land and recharge.

Can anyone recommend a way of getting the pinion of my motor [:@]

well I will have pics tonight....wanna make Jabba a bit cleanier looking first.

As far as the pinion gear...I found these methods the best(becouse my new jabba eats the tail motor up and spits it out) If you have no use for the can afterwords the take the gear with pliers and get a firm grip on it and bend it on the shaft left and right...it will pop off. basically bending the shaft lossens the hold on it. hope this helps...I bought a gear puller...but it dont work for the gears that have the extra bit of metal below the teeth...:(

I need to keep my can intact, it's all i have [:o], I am trying to swap the 10 tooth main pinion with an 11 tooth. bloody thing :)

ooohhh...then I would try a gear puller if you can....not sure if it will work on a pinion like that though.
