Dragonfly #35

So I got it today.
All there, works, put it together out of the box and fired it up, it worked on the ground but it didnt have enough charge to take off.

So I charged up the batt for a few hours and plugged it in.

And this is when hell broke lose.

I dont know *** happened, I didnt even have the controller turn on but it power up to FULL POWER, just went wild, it was on the desk so I managed to grab the base but it was all I could do, then, for no reason it shut of.

Of course the damage was already done, the main blades are nice and busted up, but everything else seems fine.

And this is were it gets raelly wierd.

Not wanted to take another chance while I was trying to track down *** happened I dropped the motor out of the helo so it cant spin the blade.
So I plug it back in, turn on the controller and -nothing-

EVerything has power.
The light on the helo stops flashign like it has a signal
But it wont do a THING
No servos move, nothing.

*** is going on?? Where do I go from here? And *** happened in the first place?!?!?

I found the problem.

The wires were frayed inside! they were actually touching.

I maneged to fix it, there was acid everywhere inside the darn controller but I managed to clean it up, I had to replace a few compontents but I have a TON of those babys here so its all good.

I managed to put it all back together, clean it up, and , and

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm happy again

lol

don't plug the battery into the heli unless the transmitter is on, throttle closed and mode switch set to N for normal.
