RE: BLADE CP PROBLEM!! HELP

AMDeamon,

Sorry to hear about your crash. Hope it didn't damage too much. As for the shake while idling up, first thing to check after you replace the blades is: Are the blades properly aligned and balanced? Just because you have a new set doesn't mean that they are ready for use. If the blades are good, then check the shaft that goes between the blade grips. I know that after a very bad crash, I found that I bent the connecting shaft between the blade grips. So check that out. You also my want to check the main shaft, that could also have gotten bent.

Hope this helps. Keep us informed and good luck. Hope you get flying again soon.

Dont forget to check the flybar paddles are both at the same angle too mate and perpendicular to the swashplate.
Also, that both the paddles are exactly the same distance along the flybar from the inner weights.

thanks for the info i realized that the main shaft was bent, i did replace that. i still get some wobble so i think it may be the blades.

Your problem sounds just like the one I had when I first got my Blade CP. Did you check the spindle? It's the connecting part between the blade grips that helorookie referred to. If you can't get this part out, it means it's bent. That would most likely explain the wobble you still have left. RE: BLADE CP PROBLEM!! HELP

Hey, i got a problem witth my blade cp to. I recently got the crash resistent blades and flew around some. Everthing was fine but then i crashed ladned ont the roof. After that my heli wouldn't go higher then then 5 ft. I bought a new motor. But it was the same. Its all balanced out. The gear is kinda mmessed up but i dont think that could be the problem. Is there any way that the 4in1 CCPM broke. Everything else works fine. It seems like the engine is not giveing enough speed. But i have a new one. PLEASE HELP ME!!! And don't tell me its the CCPM 4 in 1. THANKS!

Kvas12,

You mentioned in your post that the gear is kinda messed up. Are you refering to the landing gear or the gear on the main shaft. If your talking about the main shaft, that is more than likely your problem.

As the others mentioned, check blade grips are smooth operating and doulbe check blade pitch, with motors unplugged. You should have + 5 degrees pitch at about half throttle.

Yes I ment the shaft gear. But I flew it some after wards. It just flew up(with full battery) and then started down really fast. But I also used to lift some camera on it and it would fly for only a little then i land and take off again after a minute or so. The gear is reallly bad but it still flies some. Well im gona get a new gear, but will oiling it some, help? And if anything, its not the CCPM 4in1 is it? THANKS!!

RE: BLADE CP PROBLEM!! HELP

Kvas12,

Before you do anything else, replace the main shaft and see where you stand, before thinking it is a 4 in 1 problem..

As far as the oiling / lubing parts, I use a light oil I got from my Local Hobby Shop, 3 bucks, but it should last a life time.. Comes with a syringe type applicator.

I oil everything that moves, swash plate bearing, blade grip bearing, main shaft gear, etc. Don't soak it, just a tiny drop. Makes a difference, you'll notice right away how much smoother and quieter things are. When replacing the main shaft and gear, make sure that the teeth of the motor and the main shaft aren't to loose or to tight a fit. When rotating the main blades by hand, it should rotate freely and smooth.

Hope this helps,

Choppersrule

Hi

You may also want to check to see if this part of the head assembly isn't cracked.
