This is a 82% scale model of Bruce Tharpe's Reaction 54 (turbine powered).

The spects are: WS 64", Length 68", Wing area 970 sq in, Weight 14 lb, Fan Turnigy 4.5, Motor Scorpion HK-4035-630, ESC Turnigy 100 amp, Battery 12s 5000 40C LiPo, Thrust ~10 lb, Amp Draw 62 amps, Watts 3.7 x 12 = 44.4 X 62 = 2753 watts, Timer is set for 8 minutes. Retracts, flaps, brakes. ~ 120mph.

Could be built lighter, I used wood on hand that was rather heavy. Take off with 15 degrees of flap, land with 50 degrees. You can see it slow down when the flaps go all the way down.

I do not have any video of it. There could be commercial video from AZ Jet Rally.

Last post didn't want to take photos. I load the photos and wait for the conformation, but I get the message 500 - Internal Server Error.
