I've got a BH 50mm F86. I had it too nose heavy and on the first flight attempt it tapped the ground hard enough to disconnect the ESC from the motor. Now the dumb elementary question is: how do I pull the motor out without damagaing the fuselage? Is it glued in like it seems? thanks guys!

I got it out. It was glued. Had to gently push and pull it back and forth until it let loose. I posed this question three different times with the subject worded slightly different trying to get a response. ZIP. Thanks for all the NON responses guys! You sure know how to make folks feel welcome in this hobby. (not)

I suspect the non-answers is probably a result of very few people having experience with trying to remove a fan from that particular airframe. It is hard to talk about something when one has no experience on it.

Hobby World is closer. Ryder's seemed a bit snooty to me. I use to fly gas (4 stroke) for several years but got out of it in '92 with new job and getting hooked on computer sims. Am absolutely amazed at progress in electrics. Something that was only a dream back then.<div></div><div>Now next question: After I re-connect the esc, do I really need to glue the motor back in? It feels locked in place after I re-installed the access cover and runs ok.</div>

Just use low temp hot glue. You can even get a low temp gun from the .99 cents store and the glue stick I glue all of my fans in the way. Youonly need a little bit to much and you won't get the door back on. Make sure to put it on both sides so you don't loose your door in mid flight.
