Having flown my Habu foamy exclusively off grass for more than a year I can tell you it is a non event,simply toss the plane with a slight nose up attitude and full power and she will fly right out of your hand. I dont even use undercarriage it makes the habu look so sleek in the air.

I agree with jetster81, the PZ Habu hand tosses well, looks great in the air, and easily belly lands on grass without the gear. It also flies off grass with the gear and the stock power setup. A very versatile design by ParkZone that you can also modify for retracts, upgrade to 5s power with a bigger ESC, and buy spare parts for those little mishaps.

Yeah, typically throw it yourself. Someone else tossing it always messes with me. Most people don't know how to give it a good throw...
