I have 4 different 5" fan unit..I have made adaptors to convert them to electric..thought i would share what i have found on the test stand performance...
Turbax,Viojet,Dynamax and Ramtek...i will start putting Data on this evening..need to rerun a few for better presentation...a few pictures to see what i have done...
Have make new stator for the Turbax...these are the original design from the 70"s..they do not straighten the flow completely..have made new ones and molded over the original..you can see the difference...
Using 670kv HET,825kv NEU,and 1050kv NEU motors...and 625kv Mega motor on the Dynamax and Ramtek...He are a few sample data..

Turbax/1050kv/8c==27500 rpm @ 101 amps Turbax/825kv/8c==23800 rpm @ 60 amps Turbax/825kv/9c==26200 rpm @ 74 amps

Dynamax/670kv/12c== 25700 rpm @ 96 amps Ramtek/670kv/12c== 24200 rpm @ 120 amps

Dynamax/625kv/12c== 26900 rpm @ 152 amps Ramtex/625kv/12c== 24500 rpm @ 152 amps

Viojet/670kv/8c== 17700 rpm @ 46 amps Viojet/670kv/12c== 24600 rpm @ 92 amps
