"90mm TWIN WIDOW"
Another great flying day today, burning some serious amps. 90mm "Twin Widow" vs. " 127mm "Big Bigger and the Biggest", I think the latter won in quite windy conditions. (pix)

"Twin Widow" in action, this is 8.5 feet long model at 8kg, AUW, my first flight today taking off into the light Sth-ly and landing into the Nth/W-ly ended 3 feet short of the creek! Perfect timing! I took 3 flight videos, two with on board cam and the first flight with cap-cam. Great flying day!

Couldn't pick a better flying day, middle of Autumn in Sth/Hemi and 30+C! Is that a GW?

Another fine beach day, tho one of the 4 batteries on my first flight exploded mid flight, no drama, still plenty of power to bring it safely down. Video of my 2nd. flight using old Zippy 5Ah set.

Now fitted with 3D printed air intakes the "Widow" absolved 7 flights since Sunday, back in air again tomorrow. Love the new stereo sound. Yesty at my home Club even managed close encounters with the wild kind, missing it only by few inches!!!

Quick replacement but the final coat will have to wait after flying sessions.
Last 5 days flying my giant "TW" at 3 different venues made me feel like a fool today while ready to fly it at my favored beach in rather nice conditions, after pulling the thing out of the van ready for a short walk to the beach, bugger! No canopy cover! Left it somewhere but no idea where!
Rather than fishing out I quickly made a new one for tomorrow flights while all batteries are on full charge.

Flying in the strong wind, loaded up with twin 8S/ 5Ah, HD set.
Took 3 deltas out to our AGM meet, real battle flying on very windy day, almost lost the "Widow", but managed to pull just right time over the trees, the worse scare I had with this model over the years.
6 flights all up on the day in not the most enjoyable conditions.
