This is one of the first test flights of our Ducted Fan Hexacopter. We are currently using six 127mm EDFs , 160 amp ESCs and 4 5000mah 6s batteries, giving us 10lbs of thrust on each fan. Our current frame is 32 inches in diameter and weighs in at around 27lbs. There is still a lot of room for improvement and we are open to suggestions! I will post more/better videos if requested.

Did you mean four 6S/5000 per each unit? or to power all 6 units as I assume? Seem to me pretty inefficient gadget, which ever way. I run five 127mm fans in various EDF jets all on 12S but each on at least 8-10 000mAh. My units produce 10-12kg of thrust at pretty high current draws up to 250Amps on full bursts which I don't have to use much, having enough power taking off at 50% power output as seen in attached video flying last Sat. at pretty crappy field among cow pastures, enjoy and Happy and safe flying.
