Edf question, by a completely new guy
I'm wanting to design and build some of my own jets. I'm looking at small aircraft for starts, 12 inches long. I dont know what gear I will need to run, id like it to be 4 channel, and fly as slowly as possible with an edf.
The first one I want to build will be an f16. EDF. suppose the thrust needed for flight will depend on the weight, but I need to know what thrust options are available. I want to do this cheap and light weight as possible. Even to the point of making my own edf if need be.
What are some easy to find high thrust to weight edf plants and is there a scale that shows what thrust is required for a certain weight? I know lift and drag etc playes a big roll here. I'm just looking for a starting point to build around.
