To begin with I've been in the hobby 40+years but know nothing about EDF jets. Last year I was gifted wit a F-22 Sky FLIGHT Raptor jet . it came with a "Fullymax 30c 6s 22.2v 95,46wh battery". The problem is it wont gather enough speed to take off from our grass field. It came stock with 6 bladed 70mm EDF fans. The question I have is if I swap out the 6 bladed fans to 12 bladed units would that add the additional power to take off on grass or do nothing at all. Appreciate any help I could get.

To go to 12 blades you need a motor with the proper KV that can handle it.

Some jets have just too small a wheel to operate off grass. Also, 30c is pretty low end for most EDF batteries.
