Default Help With EDF Design

Designing my first EDF Depron foam aircraft and looking for help. I'm planning on using a 50mm EDF and if I'm doing the math right it has an area of 3.14 sq. in. I'm assuming the air intake will need to be at least that large, but what about the outlet? Does that need to be the same area as the fan? Larger? Smaller?

I'm expecting the aircraft minus battery to weigh around 625 grams. I'm looking at a motor that is rated at 780 grams of thrust. Will this be sufficient for my needs?

I have no experience in this area so any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
