Looks super sweet to fly sounds amazing too, what kinda flight times are you getting. I like 5 min up so many are 3-4 minute I’ve been staying to ones with longer times flying. Currently own a Habu 50mm SS I get 7min time on am installing a new ESC to run 4s on it head of 10-15 min flights doing it. Beautiful jet look forward to hearing back on flight times

Thank you Sir! I only have two flights on it so far and both are a little over three minutes on that 2200 4S pack with a decent cushion left in the pack. I did just buy some HRB 3000's to use in my Husky, my 64mm Futura, and Husky to see how it handles more weight versus flight times.

Would definitely like to hear how she does especially flight times. Just started into EDF jets second arrived yesterday the HobbyKing F16 50mm. I did convert my Habu as 50mm to 4’s and love getting 7 min flight times on a Spektrum 4s 2200 50c G2. Think flight times are why so far I’ve stayed smaller would like to get 5 min or close to so your review has me super interested in this jet. Please update beautiful jet has my curiosity a larger one with more flight time

Excellent work on the T-28! That is another very good RC Plane

Thank you I have a Habu 50mm ss I just converted to 4s not so much longer flights but she definitely goes a lot faster. I did order yesterday the freewing 64mm F16 kept going back and forth with the F22 but I’m so used to rudder not sure about going without. Starting to get some packs have 2 4s 2200’s ordered a third last week and 5 3s 2200. Getting there just got back into the hobby a few months ago. Can’t wait to hear more on long term

Note that motor current drawn is proportional to voltage squared.
Going from 3s to 4s, current drawn wants to increase by factor (4/3)²=1.7, 70% higher.
Ignoring increase in voltage losses in battery, wiring, controller and motor caused by higher current.
Current is also proportional to pitch & #blades, voltage²
Kv³ & gearing³

propdiameter⁴

Witch exception of the first two: small changes, massive effects.

Hopefully you all can school me some here please, originally I threw a Spekrum 70amp ESC in the Habu 50 Thai was the direct replacement for the Habu 70 sts worked beautifully except I didn’t have thrust reverse. So I got a smoking deal on eBay bunch of parts for the Habu and a new in the package 45amp LW Avian ESC. Thinking is says 3-4s compatible I threw it in much lighter than the 70amp however I crashed yesterday on take off the EDF looses power seems only on take off like pulses and I still couldn’t program in thrust reverse. Emailed Spekrum they gave me a part number for a 40amp Avian ESC to use, not making sense to me I’m DC voltage literate having worked on motorcycles ATV’s etc for many years. Some help on this pulse issue would be great I’m running Spektrum smart 4s 2200’s both 50c after the crash I did repair threw the 70amp ESC back in I can deal with no reverse thrust but not EDF pulsing
