My project is to make an EDF mini T. I recently purchased a mamba kv8000 motor set and an EDF 55 unit. I plan to run it on 6-8 cell GP1100 cells. However I looked at a topic and someone said the EDF unit will detonate at 34,000RPM. Does the rotor explode? I also wanted to know how the rotor stays on the motor shaft, is it friction fit? Will it slip? If RPM is a cencern I might use a 4 cell pack. Any opinions?

I appreciate the help

i run a mamba 8000 with 8 cell gp1100 packs without any problems except the motor getting hot wich was expected.

check out my video with the mamba with only a 6 cell Kan 1050 pack
