What is a good 1st EDF?
What is a good 1st EDF? I was thinking like a small fighter jet with modorate power and control. I would like it to model after a F-16, F-18, or a F-22; but it dose not have to be modeled after those. I dont really have a budget just not to far over $350

None of those are good for a first jet. There are some good ones of those models out there - but they are not good for a first EDF.
Try a turbo hawk for $40 bucks. Includes the fan and motor too. Fly for a month or two - then put a brushless in it and then after 3 months of that you should be able to go to something else like the HET F-18.

I am selling my first DoJet ready to fly, the one you see in my thread a few before yours. It is a very good sport jet with forgiving properties. My design goal was to make a jet that was easy to fly for someone that can't be at the field every week. It isn't the fastest jet in the world but it scoots along pretty well and will slow down for landing. I am including the MF480 which is a popular and reliable fan. I hadn't planned on including the equipment but we could work out a deal. Let me know.

Yes warbirds-RC on the west coast he also stocks motors, ESC, fans, etc. Markos is a great guy to deal with. We are working with Warbirds-RC to supply the East coast. I stock the FA-18's in Blue and Grey as well as the Skyray ARF and stock Wemotec fan units. And a few other EDF's and prop birds.
Thanks,
Thanks,
