Found a Glockner BAe HAWK in my closet!
Hey gang,
I just unearthed a NIB Glockner Hawk that I put away several years ago... To be honest I have been away from the hobby for a few years and just started catching up on the latest battery technologies...
I thought it might be time to build this plane but need some advice on what is best to use for this model as far as power/ batteries are concerned... I have a WeMoTec 480 fan as well as the EP fan that came with the kit.
Any hints on Li Po cells, motor and ESC would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Sean

Since the fan houses a 480, sounds like a good candidate for a Mega 16/5/2 or 16/15/3 brushless motor. The /2 only needs a 2S lipo, the /3 needs a 3s. Multiplex has recently released a 480 size brushless motor line thats even cheaper than the Mega.
