How can you cool a sp400 motor inside a me-109 when the spinner is that big that it shadows all possible cooling slots or anything. Of course you can put scoops, but hen all scale is lost.
I just flew one of these me-109 and fryed the motor in 3 minutes.
Also, how can you avoid having the battery, transmitter and controller not crowded when it is recommended to have them as far as possible. Fotunately I had no interference at all, but then it means it is not so important.
Any comments.
Thanks.

Drill and file some slots behind the spinner in the fuselage front, then drill 2 or 3 7/64 or 3/32 holes in the spinner front, one between each prop blade. (Doesn't matter if your using a 2 or 3 bladed prop. If your using a 2 blader , drill 2 holes, a 3 blader, then drill 3 holes.) Air will flow through those holes into the fuselage via the 1st mentioned slots, as the model moves forward.
You will need to also cut a warm air exit slot up on the underside of the fuselage, up near the tail somewhere. About 1 inch x 1/8th or so, to create the air flow through the fuselage. If you don't, the interior will just pressure up, the motor /esc will NOT cool and then things like battery hatches start popping off.
Alternatively, consider a Brushless Outrunner motor. They run a lot cooler. Also, you've posted your message in the Ducted Fan (Jet) section.
