I started this scratch-built Fouga Magister in the fall of 2003. Total build time, including repairs from an unpleasant first flight attempt (June 2004) is about 200 hours.
This morning, using a bungee with 12 lbs of tension (4:1) the Magister flew. Took some left aileron trim to get it level but fly it did. And rather well, I'm pleased to say. Solid 5 minute flight time, presents itself very nicely.
55" WS, 48 oz AUW, MF480/MEGA 16/15/2, 8x4/5FAUPx1950 pack, 32 amp (HOC), 274 watts, 90w/lb.
