Limited Edition Hawk for sale - WOW!!!
As a member of “The Badius owners Club” I want to draw your attention to the following:
As a tribute to the late Roger Breckenridge, DepronJet, on behalf of “The Badius Boys” (The Badius Owners club, in the Park Flyers forum of RCU), has crafted a Limited Edition issue of 12 BAE Hawk model aircraft in the Red Arrow Demonstration Team Colors to be sold to benefit Roger’s family.
Roger, known as “Sticks” to his many friends and to all of those he helped while flying RC, and as “AgCat1982” and “Duster” to those of you who frequent RC Universe and Watt Flyer will truly be missed by all of us and this is a small way to keep his memory alive. All proceeds from the sale of these limited edition kits will go directly to the family of the late Roger Breckenridge. RCUniverse, DepronJet and “The Badius Boys” will not profit from this sale in any way.
The Red Arrow Demonstration Team is the British counterpart of the America’s Blue Angels and we are honored to receive their permission to use “BAE Hawk”, “Red Leader One” and their signature color scheme in our Limited Edition honoring our friend and fellow pilot, Roger.
Each one of these Hawk aircraft bears an individual molded identification number in the fuselage attesting to the fact that it is part of a limited edition set of kits. This is a strictly limited set of 12 Hawk kits with the word “Sticks” molded into the fuselage adjacent to the cockpit. Only ten kits are being auctioned on RCU as a tribute to Roger; one display model is being produced for his family, and one will be retained by DepronJet - making a total of only 12 kits ever produced. Once this limited edition sale is complete, the mould block will be reworked – there will never again be a “Sticks” Hawk produced. Each kit also comes with a matching signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity from the manufacturer suitable for framing.
