Default 3dfoamy f18 help

am looking to get one when they come back in stock on Fri. Can anyone give some advice on servos, receiver, and batteries.
I am new to electric not used to using micro anything (give me the high-torque digitals and a DA 50).I am going to use the CC phoenix 25 amp brush-less controller and the
himaxx HA 2015-4100 motor ,but as far as everything else I am lost
Product name and model numbers would be awesome for me( and easier)
Thanks Guys

I have a CC 25 in mine with a Himax park 400 twisting GWS C gears and a 9x7 prop. The power comes from Kokam 3s 1500mah lipo. I don't run full throttle very long only short bursts since the draw in 18A at burst and 14 or so sustained. With the newer high C rated batteries this is not too much of a concern but I play just a little on the safe side. I have set the timer for 10 min on my Tx since the longest flight I ever had was 11.5 min again on the safe side cause when you run out of juice everything shuts off for a moment or two. FWIW the pic is of #8, I have destroyed 1-7 having too much fun. You will love this plane. Tip - hot melt glue is your freind for mounting electronics, servos included.

You may also want to consider buying a micro-whip antenna. These consist of an 8in or so whip antenna, mounted to a flat plate with some other electrical components. You then cut your receiver antenna and connect to the micro antenna. I have mine mounted in my F-18 inlet (flat plate attached to the flat side of the inlet). This has worked great so far and the antenna is not visable. No danger of catching the antenna in the prop. BTW, there is also a 3D-Foamy support forum as a sub-forum to the 3-D forum.

I just used hot melt glue and ran it forward out the inlet along the fuse with no issues.
