I saw one in the classified section here on rcu for 600 bucks and all you need to do is drop in a batt & reciever.

I just ordered one from warbirdsrc.com with the 700 watt motor and a 4cell from thunder power.

If you want to make the nitro &gas guys cry.....this is the plane!!

Markos at www.warbirds-rc.com carries the entire line of HET-RC jets...look under the Warbirds EDF ARF section to see the FA-18 listed. Check him out and remember his price INCLUDES shipping. The FA-18 is listed for $125.50 and a good buy at that. You may want to look at getting a Wemotec Minifan 480 and motor too while you are there as his prices are the best. Any idea on what power plant your want to use?

Thanks for the reply. I'll check out their site. As far as powerplant....no idea. I've just started to consider one of these jets. Any tips or suggestions you can pass along would be appreciated.

These guys are out of stock. You can still find the F-18 in stock on E-bay.

For balancing, go to www.warbirds-rc.com and check out the "Research Center" section and in the hints and tips are step by step instructions with photos for both the Wemotec and HET-RC fans.
