Hey,
Ic that you have many questions. Hitec HS-55 servos work very well. Also modelaero.com sells WayPoint servos that are also good for the aerocat. As you mentioned about the Mega/2100/25 amp ESC that will do fine.As far as the receiver, any micro receiver will do. A good one is Hitec 05S receiver. Mega will work with 6 x 4 prop... on your setup. You will not need servo extensions, just a Y harness to connect the aileron servos. If you have other questions then ASK!

thanks a lot paul. this will be my first ARF and i can't wait to build it. I am dreading spending about $350 on the LiPo stuff though(but i guess it will be worth it). once again thanks for the help
