What battery are you using? What are the specs of the fan? What ESC?

Just curious... Which Panther?

It's the graupner panther with a ap900 power fan , castle 85hv, and 2x poliquest 14.8 3300 in series.
Btw for the 18 flights this thing really moves!!!!

I think BIGCHAP might have solved your problem. If in fact, the packs are in series the motor is seeing 29.6v.

What motor are you using? What is its Kv?

you've answered your own question, you're feeding the motor too many volts, get a motor that can handle it.i've just checked the specs for that motor,it has a very low kv,do you not think a higher kv motor would help?that way you can save on battery weight and win all round.

Right cell count for a midi or DS51.
Problem is the airpower fan pulls more amps than the other two............

I ran the 30/3 on 8s with a midi fan for two years without problems.
Over 200 flights before I sold the plane........
