Hello Everyone,
I just received my 80 amp spt esc in that I am going to use in conjuction with a 2w motor in the f-18 I ordered. My question is how exactly do you use the usb cable for the ESC. Nothing happens when I just connect the esc to the cable. However, It did show that it was connected when I supplied external power to the ESC. I just don't know if it is the correct way to program. There is an onscreen setting for test running motors though and I would guess that you would have to supply an external power? Anyhow, can anyone give me an exact order of steps on how to connect everything together and what order it should be done in? Thank-you. Also, should I disable the BEC when connecting to the usb cable? Thank-you.

Hover,
Where did you purchase your SPT-80? You need to get a copy of the software that you load on your PC to allow programming. The software is free from Markos at www.warbirds-rc.com and the USB drivers and software are located here-
http://www.warbirds-rc.com/Store/spt-usb.html
He has it listed under step 1 and step 2 for downloads. Let me know i fyou need anything else.
