Kelly - something really nice to own and fly would be the Alfa Models MIG 15, building is a little bit of a pain in the butt, I think the Sabre will be easier to build compared with the MIG. Another plane that is cheap and good is the so called J Perkins Tiger Shark, its like a little BVM Bandit, made of foam and flies really nice. The GWS A 10 is a nice plane to fly too.

Try the X-Flight F-16 with the 55mm fan and 8XL motor on a 4S 2200 20C pack it moves. With this set up you pull about 34 amps at 527 watts and over 28 oz's of thrust for a 1:1 set up

I'm suprised I'm the first one to mention it.... The EJF Sportjet 70. Very slick little airplane, great flier and 0 bad habbits. You can do it as a hand launch or put gear on it and fly it off a runway. It's a tremendously easy build and comes very complete. I have the base setup and it's fast, just marginally faster than my buddy's HET F-18. I lost a little with the gear but I like it better that way.
