Default Li-ion batteries and jets?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Li-ion type batteries/cels in an EDF? If you were trying to use a 6s2p setup, what would be the weight difference between li-po's and li-ion packs. My head's swimming with all the hype on this stuff. But my pocket book likes the Li-ions. Just not sure of the trade-offs. Bill

the best lipos aren't always the most expensive,i bought a load of kokam 20c 3s1p 3200's and each one was rubbish,no way of balancing, huge voltage drop under load and very heavy,i recently bought some ebay lipos distributed by 3e model and they are superb, very cheap and much better than the £110 a pop kokams i got.
