If anyone has experience with this AP1200 using either 10s or 12s I would be interested as I am planning to use mine in a Goldcat 54 .Do you think retracts are mandatory for minimum drag in flight?

I have not used the AP1200.. I have been told it's not a great fan.. but for the money it may be worth a shot
although not cheap I'm using the DS-94 subeler fans and just love them... really nice

I will give the AP1200 fan a go as I think that the limiting factors in this case are likely to be the ESC and lipos .If anyone else has any comments or suggestions I would be glad to hear them.
