great planes learjet conversion to electric?
Well I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of trying to put a couple of electric ducted fans on one of these kits?? Thinking I want something a little different for a winter project and I have a xpd-8 thats about had it and just got to thinking maybe I could put this on a lear or citation and couldn't really think of anything better than the gp lear. I know there is foam planes out there similar to this but im not much of a foam person, i tend to lean towards something that I can build. well guys what do you think,
My main concern is will these hperflows have enough thrust to get this thing in the air, I would go with the biggest inrunner i can fit in there and 11.1 volt lipo's, obviously I will go with dual motors. Does anyone have one of these birds, how does it fly heavy? light?? I will try to put the thing on a pretty extreme diet, I also would like to put retracts on it, I beleive I will be using mini servo's to save weight and etc.
thanks
Brent
