I am looking for a good strong mg servo for my HobbyLobby f5e retract system. The stock servos keep breaking gears. Can someone suggest a good servo for this application.

I am having the same problem

I have had good luck with Hitec HS 85 MG's. The use of the Servo Slowdown Module from Hobby-Lobby may also help (it is part number NFSD1) .... this little gizmo is way cool. Bob

If you have the length of servo arm pointed exactly at the load rod......you can not strip any gears ever. You could possibly rip the servo out of the plane.
If you can not visualize what I am saying, let me know & I will draw a quick diagram.
