Which Jet
What is the Fastest EDF jet that has retracts? I have been looking at the Rafale and F-16 from RCLander. I like these alot because they have a nice scale appearance. Also I have been looking at the F5-E from Hobby Lobby since I also like the design of this plane. I do not want it to spend over $500 for everything and it would be nice if it had a fiberglass fuselage but it is not nessecary since these planes I mentioned don't have it.

RE: Which Jet
It is my educated guess that they would be very close in speed. The F-5 may be a little faster with that motor on 4s and HET 6904 fan. I have only seen the lander F-16 in the online videos from their website. It looks fast, but as always on video it is deceptive.

RE: Which Jet
I found some awsome planes on ebay. They have a fiberglass f-16 with fixed gears but it is only a 3 channel. Also they have a cool sabre and a mig 29 that has 2 92mm fans. I bet that thing halls and it looks like it does in the video. http://stores.ebay.com/Jet-Tech-Mode...14889331QQtZkm

RE: Which Jet
this does not answer your question but a few months ago a guy showed up at our flying site with a edf F-16 in thunderbird scheme. it was not very big but it had a fiberglass fuselage and retracts. it was its first flight and this thing jumped off the ground at a incredible speed. it was fast!!. fastest edf i have ever seen. too fast for him because he slowed it down just to keep on top of it until he got comfortable with it. . at full speed this thing would get out of eyesight in seconds plus it was hard to see at a distance. i took some good video of it with my digital camera. i wish i would have ask him what make it was. he did say he had some $$$ tied up in it.

RE: Which Jet
I recently went to China for business and visited Lander Tech. (RC Lander). Well to make the story short, I came back with the New F-16I receiver ready jet. The only thing that you need is the TX/RX and the jet is 95% assembled before they boxed it for me. I have not even taken it out of the box yet, but would like to sell it. Please let me know if anyone is interested??

RE: Which Jet
The fastest electric i have seen was 90mm with a spider system on 8s. it was over 200mph with downhill. Its not made anymore, and I dont know of anyone that makes it anymore. ITs hard to stuff the batts in it. I have the HET 70mm F-16 on 4S/6904/2w-20. I will post the results next spring. I talked to EJF.com. they thought their fastest bird would be the sniper(looks like a mini bandit) with a 6904 and a 2w-25 on 6S-2500, using two 3S packs. I dont know, but thats what I was told.
I thought I would try it next summer sometime. I am waiting to see what stu and Tam put out. If you want to move up, the CARF spark with a TAM or STUmax is over 150mph with 12S.
Im working on a balsa delta that should go pretty fast too. Hopefully have it flying in the summer. sorry no pics. It looks like a diamond dust kinda...
