I've been trying to get a refund from Eric at AirPac models for 5 weeks now. No answers to emails, no replies to phone messages. Nothing! These are orders from September 2008. His last excuse for non-shipment in November was "shipping issues."

He claims to be in Hawaii, but his friends in Hawaii and his suppliers say he's been in China for quite while now. Airpacs corporate status is expired and the parent corporation has been involuntarily suspended since mid-2007.

Yet, Air Pac still advertises right here on RCU and the Website is still up and running. Eric will certainly take your Paypal payments, but won't deliver the goods nor a refund.

If you've been taken by Eric and want your money back, send me a PM and I'll give you some places to file complaints with.

that's sad .i got ripped off here while back also and i know how it feels. there is a lot of that going on in this mail order buisness anymore. . lot of small buisness's starting up and have no ethics. i have been in this hobby and mail ordering since 1983 back when there were no arfs or rtf planes. you built kits if wanted a nice plane. but today in this era of instant gradifaction has caused dozens and dozens of these companys to spring up. most people(not all) on these forums have never probably even built a kit. they almost worship these company's.i made a negative post about one and i got all kinds tongue lashings replies."nobody talks about my company like that attitude". and that is probably why there was no replys to your post. .....they probably also build shrines to them also

ALL paid in advance deals with ANY company run this risk. Look at how WALL street and bank mortgages screw the customers.

Plenty of crooks deal on the web because the is NO paper trail worth dirt. Pay ONLY BY CREDIT CARD. PERIOD!!!!!! Get your money back as soon as you are put off for any reason.
