Hi there,
Does anyone have one of these, if so is it worth the buy. If you are using the recommended power does it perform okay or would you suggest something other powerhouse. Is it fast?
Regards
Frank

Hi Frank.
I just finished putting one together, so cannot advise yet on performance. Be happy to do so when better weather arrives in NH!!! I am 85 years old, and this is the best finished ARF I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finished weight with 2200 Mah Li-pos is 40 Ozs. I shall start with 3S and move to 4S after getting the feel?
Plenty of good open spaces here...but none with smooth macadam. I put larger than called for wheels all around. 2 inch mains..1 inch nose. It actually improves the static appearance.
With no good place to land or takeoff...I am seeking advice on a bungee setup for launching. As an old thermal sailplane sort, I have rubber tubing, etc.
Could I erect an inclined ramp...made of PVC pipe...about 10 feet long...and just HI-START with about 10 lbs pull???
Anyone who has experience...please contact me.
Theres a video on E-flite web site if anyone is interested in Performance.
