Default HET MIG29: Where do the wings fold?

Hey guys,
I saw the wood spar they supplied and it looked weak. The carbon looks like it will hold, but it only goes a little bit into the wing, not very strong. I plan on glassing the wings with .56 cloth and maybe adding another spar that runs through whole wing. I am concerned as I wanted to put in 3.2-3.4kg+ total thrust.

For those of you that had the MIG29 wing failure where was it at?
Also, what was your final flying weight?

Thanks
