I am looking at buying an edf jet, problem is i dont know what to get. I would like something fast ove 100mph but still looks good and will be reliable.
I have heard a flycat is fast, so is the funjet. I like the shape of the BAE Hawk but heard bad thigns about them.
Can anyone suggest a good, fast edf foam jet of good quality.
Thanks for you help

Not sure how fast it is tho, hopefully i can put a big motor in it like a 4800kv or 5200 kv. Will this be a good idea?

White pulsss ... I would go with a 4,800 for 3S, the fan is not all that efficient, so its a waste. Also, it will not do 100 mph for you, more like 100 kmh. If you want speed, the Super Sniper is the way to go.

I just bought a DF-32 Panther the other day. Looks kind of funny but from what I seen in video looks like a lot of fun. Also for $99 it comes with plane, motor, fan , servos. After I seen how cheap it was I was sold. I seen the video on You Tube from an RCUniverse review. Watched video and bought it. lol

That thing looks like a hoot! you could probably shoehorn a minifan or HET if the fan ever gave up the ghost fro some wicked power, though it seems to have plent now. I'd bet that's 100 MPH or close. If I wasn't so lazy I'd rip the wav from that video and dopller it to see for sure.

The WM plane is nice to fly. She handles well but it not a speed machine, not with that fat fuse. I maidened one for my pal and its nice to fly around. With the stock set up do not expect 100 mph. More like 70 mph max at the most, straight and level and not out of a dive. I wish it came in white then we can really make her look great!

I dunno, we could try a doppler test on those two high speed passes.
It looked faster than 70MPH to me though.
My XPD-8 with the upgraded motor setup, clocks in at 83MPH on a similiar pass, and it doesn't appear to be faster than that the DF-32.
Going by my XPD-8 I'd put the DF-32 in that video close to 100mph.
Of course the pilot did decending full speed passes, and you may be talking about straight and level transitions to full speed, where it may not reach the same speeds.

Hey guess what came in the mail today. My DF-32 Panther !! What a weird name, think I will just call it a Panther lol. I just now got home from work and wife had already pulled the box in. When I opened front door I was like a little kid, I ran over to my brown box with my name on it and opened it right up.
It looks pretty cool and like there is nothing to it to get it assembled. I just really dont care for that Yellow color. It is such an off color yellow mixed with some white specs in it. I may lightly spray some Red on it. Cant wait to fly this thing!!
