F-15 power suggestions
Hello Gents,
I have an early Avonds F-15 fuse and wings that I want to build as a twin EDF. If built on the light side, what would be an reasonable AUW and what fans would allow grass field operation. I'm new to electric power.
Thanks

Hello!
Thier is a guy on RCgroups doing a build thread already and he is using twin stumax fans. You could also try the XPS setup but probably only need one fan for that. I watched a flight on a jetlegend F15 that had twin stumax fans and it was one of the most impressive aircraft I have seen on electric and topped out at 165 mph.

I would go with the single XPS setup, You will keep the weight WAY down, and the Avonds flew fantastic on a single 91 glow setup anyway. On 12-14s.....That F-15 should fly Sweet, and land like a butterfly with sore feet.
Good Luck...Post some pics
