Default Protecting the bottom?

I'm putting together a Squall (small HP foamy delta wing w/no landing gear). Our field has an asfault runway. I'm trying to think of the best way to protect the bottom of the plane. Something lightweight, but durable. the Squall kit only has a big decal stuck on the bottom. Any suggestions?

I use wing tip skids on my gliders that I dont catch, one on each wing and usually just one underneath, works very well for asphalt landings.

On my EZ* though I CA'ed a strip of clear plastic that I cut from a 1 gallon water jug. It runs the full length of the contact area and it slides like its on ice, I have been know to taxi and also takeoff like this.

No, but there is one (4c) at our field and it is IMPRESSIVE for a stock setup, with long flight times.

That's what I use but I don't think it'll help with the exposed lip of the inlet on the belly, that is going to need some real protection.

The intake lip has a plastic shield that glues all the way around it

How will that hold up on asphalt though?

I use glass tape, 2 layers. We call it glass tape here, its like scotch tape with while lines embedded in it lengthwise. Its light but will need replacing. Easy to replace as using masking tape. Wing tips would do well with skips, can use old horns if you like.
