Default Throttle cutting out

Hey guys,

I just installed an E-Flite Delta V 65mm unit with the E-Flite 40A ESC. I'm using Zippy 4S 2200mah 30C batteries.

Every time I throttle up the power will cut out at about half throttle. I get lucky if I throttle up really really slow and can get her to work. Any ideas on what may cause this?

Thanks!

Gabe

Gabe,
any chance you have a watt meter available? That would be able to give you enough information to help solve your problem (at least eliminate some possibilities).

Just read the specs for that motor and recommended ESC is 60A with a 3S battery.

Answered my own question this morning. I needed to reprogram the ESC. Flies great now! This bad boy is actually faster than my Habu. Easy hand launch too.

Thanks for the help boys!

Gabe
