Thinking of running this in my starfire $29 and a $45 motor? Anyone try this

I dont know what fan you have but if its in a YA starfire it must pull over 100 amps. I dont think that speed controler is up to the task.

Damb link doesnt work anyway I was thinking hobby cities 5 inch fan 12 cells 110 hv ESC. Anyone have this combo?

It might fly ok. I would go with a proven system like Freds DynEmax or the XPS system then you will be doing around 190mph and have a proven system that sounds good.
