Default Hobby Lobby F-86 - CG ?

Regarding the HL F-86 (Skyblazers scheme) ....... Wondering if the CG location as noted in the manual is correct (3 to 3 3/8 inches back from wing center section) is accurate ? I have to add a considerable amount of nose weight to get it to balance ..... which is usually not the way most small EDF's are designed. Thanks. Bob

Default RE: Hobby Lobby F-86 - CG ?

Swept back wings balance close to the trailing edge.

Here is a pic of my scratch built F86, 46" WS and its quarter size chuck glider.

The red mark located 1" ahead of the TE is the balance point for this F86. The sweep angle is about 52 degrees. The angle will affect the BP.
