Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has ever done an EDF comparison using, say a nitroplanes EDF jet RTF and then taking all of the power equipment out (speed controller, motor, fan battery) and installing something better (more expensive) like a Hoffman Magnetics storm/wild beast with a castle creations speed controller and a high priced thunder power battery. How much difference would there really be?? Is it worth it? I'm posing the question because I've been flying the RTF/Receiver Ready versions that Nitro and Bananna sell for a couple years and was wondering if it would be better to get a really good/expensive power setup and then buy the ARF kits.
