Capt G,
That's awesome! What's the size and fans/motors? I just received the plans for Chris Golds' Canberra and am planning finishing it as an EB-57. Rob |
RE: B-57B Build
Thanks for the kind words. It has HET 700 -60 2610kv motors with the HET 700 fans. Scales out at 1/9th at 86" span. Weight is about 19.5 lbs with batts on 6s lipos. over 1400 sq in wing area. What are Chris Gold plans?

RE: B-57B Build
Capt. G,</p> </p> The Chris Golds design is almost the same size as yours. His is 84 inch span and 18 lbs. His is an older design - he flew the maiden on 3300 NiMh cells. I'm going with two 8s 4000 Lipo's and Wemotech Midi fans. The switch to Lipos will take almost 3 pounds out.</p> </p> </p> Rob</p> |

Cockpit is done. Kind of minimalist until I can find a couple scale 1/9th commercial ones somewhere.

RE: B-57B Build
I reckon that would suit 2 turbines aswell!
Beautiful work!!!! |

Maiden attempt today. Had to abort when motors were cutting out. Posted a vid on you tube but can't find it.
