Default Servos for GP ElectroStik

New to electric GP said to use 30oz servos. Looking at servos the ones that fit the cutouts are only good for about 18 to 20oz. Can anyone tell me what to use?

I used HS-82MG servos in my first Electrostik. They worked very well. I have the RXR version now and it has Electrofly Micros in it. They seem to work well.

HS-82MGs in mine also, and no problems after about 35 flights.

You must really like it. Hmm, maybe I should put this plane on my wishlist.

It's one of the nicest flying planes I own. My original was powered with an AXi 2826 on 4 A123 cells. Plenty of power and plenty of flight time. I lost it when the elevator servo went intermittant on me. Just dove for the ground. I bought the RXR version to get back in the air quickly. I love Stiks, I've always had one.

Hitec HS-81 or 82 should do nicely.

The HS-85 might need a little mod of the servo mount but it adds ball bearings which contribute to longevity AND to precision.  Something to consider.</p>
